Description

Research based, lead generating inside sales role that is a key contributor in growing the company’s customer base and company revenue via telephone cold calls, social networking, and in-person visits (as needed). Collaborates directly with Sales Directors. Develops customer profiles, generates customer awareness and interest, responds or develops proposals and presentations, lead generation and lead qualification, and assists with transitioning sale to account managers and operations.

Duties and responsibilities

Essential duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:

  • Prospects continually for new business opportunities to build a pipeline of qualified potential customers.
  • Finds new customers and drive new sales opportunities by identifying key decision makers, determining the appropriate approach for each.
  • Provides Sales team with a consistent flow of quality leads.
  • Works to qualify leads, generates customer interest, promotes awareness, and develops new leads.
  • Analyzes and maintains customer databases, develops reports and queries to identify outstanding opportunities, and follows-up to secure and ensure accuracy of terms, quotes, pricing, and related activity or profiles.
  • Prepares research and information to respond to customer requests or proposals, prepares quotes, reports, and other information as required.
  • Develops quotes, proposals or presentations for customers for management approval; assists with presentation as required.
  • Develops targeted business that aligns with company goals and objectives.
  • Gathers, analyzes, and prepares relevant information for business reviews.
  • Assists Sales Leaders with a variety of projects when requested and perform other incidental and related duties commensurate with this type of position.
  • Develops deep understanding of company service offerings and value propositions; stays up-to-date on industry trends; provides assistance reviewing and implementing market strategies.
  • Provides assistance in developing marketing and related communications materials for target customers or markets.
  • Manages a portfolio of transactional customers.
  • Other duties as required and assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications to perform the job successfully include:

  • Education: 4-year degree preferred.
  • Passion for sales and customer relationships.
  • Driven, enthusiastic, highly motivated, and results focused.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, while also delivering independent results.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including persuasion and negotiation.
  • Commitment to executional excellence and outstanding customer service.
  • Strong time management skills.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
